We close this year of incredible challenges and great feats with one of our most particular movements of the month of December. The completion of the transportation of a 12.35 ton boat.

The cargo departed from the city of Los Cabos bound for Port Everglades, Florida.
The piece would be loaded in port by our team within the state of Baja California and taken to our yards located in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas. There it would be safely stored while the corresponding border crossing permits were completed.

For this particular operation we made use of a Lowboy platform, vehicle configuration that would be maintained even after its crossing to American territory where, our commercial partners would conclude the operation by delivering at the destination point:

Dimensions:
11.92 meters long, 4.70 meters wide 3.90 meters high and a total weight of 12.35 tons.

We would like to thank everyone involved in this closing service and on behalf of the entire Tradelossa family we would like to wish you a happy and prosperous holiday season and a happy new year.

Thank you very much for staying with us, we will see you in 2022!

We at Tradelossa work hard and transform every challenge into an achievement, during the month of May we were in charge of the hauling of two oversized and ultra-heavy presses.

Received within the port of Ensenada, Baja California, our customers approached us with the goal of moving these two ultra heavy components through the state of Baja California, departing from the port of Ensenada to their facilities within the city of Tijuana.

Making use of a 12-axle+deck vehicle configuration, both pieces were successfully transported to their destination.

Our engineering team realized prior to the start of the project that the main route’s challenge was the fact that the port of Ensenada was not designed for the regular reception of oversized components, therefore, the width of the exits through the booths was smaller compared to the cargo’s dimensions.

With the help of two of our trucks, Tradelossa decided to make a rounding maneuver through a dirt road properly adapted for the safe crossing of the pieces and successfully crossing the booth inside the port of Ensenada.

Arriving safely and complying with the tight deadlines and schedule established by our customers, Tradelossa arrived at our customer’s facilities in the city of Tijuana, Baja California with both components.

Dimensions:
8.29 meters long, 4.97 meters wide, 3.82 meters high with a total weight of 230 tons.

8.94 meters long, 4.26 meters wide, 3.6 meters high. With a total weight of 165 tons.

Our work for the Fenicias Project started in November 2020, since then Tradelossa has been involved in the transportation of multiple wind components to the wind farm located in the state of Nuevo Leon in Northern Mexico.

During the course of the project 126 wind blades, 42 Nacelles, 42 Hubs and 42 Drive Trains were mobilized.

Dimensions:
Nacelle: 12.94 meters long, 2.54 meters wide, 3.38 meters high with a total weight of 69.40 tons.

The origin of the parts was varied, starting with the blades, most of which came from the city of Matamoros in the state of Coahuila.

The Hub, Nacell and Drive Train components however departed from the port of Altamira within the state of Tamaulipas.

All the parts were successfully delivered in a timely manner during the month of March of this year, following all the safety guidelines and requirements requested by our client for the completion of the project.

Tradelossa has performed the hauling of multiple components for the brewery industry in Cd Obregon, Sonora.

We share with you one of our most important projects during the month of February.

The project was carried out for the brewery sector which represents one of the major production forces within the Mexican industry, in Tradelossa we are proud of our participation in this important project which will contribute to the general reactivation within the economic sector in the north of the Mexican Republic.

The German components departed from Antwerp, Belgium, and were received in Mexican waters at the Port of Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico, where they were received by our teams for hauling to Cd. Obregón, Sonora.

On this occasion, Tradelossa was in charge of transporting 17 containers and 23 loose pieces, among which the dimensions ranged from:

6.5 meters wide and up to 5 meters high with a variety of weights between 10 and 24 tons. In total, the project included the transportation of 40 freights.

Currently, the pieces have been delivered to their destination point and all operations were carried out in compliance with the high quality and safety standards required for the execution of this great project, thank you very much to all involved.

For almost a year Tradelossa realized the transportation tasks of 33 Coolers for the energy project ”Empalme” through American and Mexican territory, reaching more than 23 thousand miles and loaded more than 1500 tons during the last eight months.

Tradelossa’s scope within the project began in the city of Laredo, Texas where Tradelossa received 33 Coolers throughout the year, performing cargo rigging operations within the United States for their border crossing into Mexican territory, where they would travel to their destination in the coastal city of Panuco, Veracruz.

However, the task for our engineers at Tradelossa began much earlier, because, for the successful conclusion of the project, the parts would need to go through a series of rigging operations, so Tradelossa assigned a team dedicated to the project with our engineers and our staff specialized in rigging operations.

The task of this team would be to prepare and condition, in collaboration with our clients, each of the 33 components that would cross the border to the Mexican state of Veracruz.

Once properly modified and making use of two 120-ton cranes together with a three-rocker system and spreader bar, our rigging team would perform the transfer of the 33 pieces to our trucks with an 8-axle hydraulic configuration, leaving the components ready for their transfer to the border and then to Mexican territory.

Departing in a convoy of 5 to 6 components per trip and with such trips lasting up to almost two weeks between the border crossing and transfer within Mexico.

Tradelossa was in charge of the transportation and safe arrival of the 33 Coolers to their destination point on the Gulf of Mexico side in the city of Panuco, Veracruz where each piece was taken and received at our customer’s facilities where they would be unloaded and the equipment released to repeat the process and the trip again.

Throughout the project, Tradelossa faced multiple challenges. During the entire process, our team approached local authorities to schedule the crossing of the pieces through the most populated areas along which our selected route marked us.

To ensure the integrity of all the members involved in the operations, it was necessary to follow a rigorous system of measures to avoid contagion and exposure to Covid-19.

This meant the exchange and delivery of the necessary paperwork for the border crossing in a digital way, it also meant constant monitoring of our team of experts residing in Laredo, Texas because it was their responsibility to review and maintain each piece prior to the border crossing between the United States and Mexico.

It was in this way that Tradelossa completed one of its most important projects of the year, coordinating operations in two different countries and adapting to the necessary health and safety processes, successfully concluding yet another project.
