Any dream endures when it becomes reality. TRADELOSSA is the result of the determination of a tenacious and persevering man who faced numerous challenges.

His story begins in the city of Villa de Talpa, Jalisco, whose name in Nahuatl means "on the earth," reflecting the legacy of Don Aurelio de los Santos Murillo, born on March 15, 1916, the youngest of seven siblings. From his childhood, he faced a Mexico in conflict, and at the age of seven, he lost his parents—an experience that shaped his life.

Barely in the third grade, his brother Salvador took him to the Sierra of Durango in search of better opportunities. In the 1920s, Durango offered a growing landscape in the lumber industry, which allowed Don Aurelio to start working at a young age, serving as an assistant, overseer, and lumber measurer—a fundamental role in the sawmills.

His determination to succeed became his calling card, opening doors with prominent figures like Don Fermín Núñez, who was his mentor and taught him values such as perseverance, honesty, and resilience. His dedication allowed him to become a trusted driver, a step that led him to set his first goal: to own his own truck.

In 1935, after years of effort, he managed to buy his first truck, and with determination, expanded his fleet to six vehicles dedicated to transporting lumber. However, the economic instability of the time caused him to lose everything he had built. With a family to support and the continuous growth of the lumber industry, he moved to the capital of Durango in 1950, determined to continue in the transportation business.

On September 27, 1960, President Adolfo López Mateos nationalized the electric industry, creating new opportunities. Don Aurelio, recognized in the transportation of poles, became one of the main carriers for the Federal Electricity Commission. As demand grew, so did the complexities of transportation, inspiring Don Aurelio to dream big.

With ingenuity and experience, and with the collaboration of his children, he became a pioneer in specialized transportation, manufacturing reinforced platforms and low-boys for larger loads. The absence of his parents in his childhood cemented his commitment to strengthen the family unit, and his children joined his dream as they grew.

On November 16, 1973, after years of sacrifices and learning, Don Aurelio founded Transportes de los Santos e Hijos, S.A. de C.V., not imagining he had created one of the leading specialized transportation companies in Mexico. His motto, "Look out for one another," reflected the value of family unity.

Over time, TRADELOSSA evolved from a regular cargo transportation company to one dedicated to specialized loads, facing competition from two major national companies in the sector. In 1985, Don Aurelio passed the baton to his children, who continued his legacy, making TRADELOSSA the first Mexican company with specialized equipment for oversized loads.

Don Aurelio passed away in January 1998, surrounded by his family, his greatest achievement. Today, with over 51 years of history, TRADELOSSA stands as a benchmark in specialized cargo transportation in Mexico, with a legacy of effort, tenacity, and commitment, always focused on family and generating a positive impact in the community, built on the heart of a man who gave his best to make this company a reality.
