• EQUIPMENT:
Self-propelled vehicle configuration with 6 hydraulic modular lines and 32 axles. Similar configurations with 19 modular axles.
• CHALLENGE:
From April 2013 to July 2014, Tradelossa carried out the transportation of over a thousand components for the XXI refinery, located in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz. Among the main components was an ethylene reactor weighing over 850 tons and nearly 100 meters long.
A total of 31,800 man-hours were invested, including planning, execution, and lifting, handling, and assembly operations. For 20 days, our team traveled the most suitable route, covering just over 8 km—the distance between the port of Coatzacoalcos and the industrial facilities of Ethylene XXI. The duration of the execution phase set a precedent in the history of ultra-heavy cargo transportation in Mexico, and Tradelossa became the author of this incredible milestone.
