This month we worked in the Cogeneration Project in Altamira, Tamaulipas; a combined cycle cogeneration plant which will deliver electricity and steam to the plastic production plant of a petrochemical company.
We finished with the transportation and installation of a steam turbine, which dimensions were 11.2 meters long x 4.8 meters wide x 4.5 meters high and a weight of 290 tons; and a steam generator with dimensions of 11.5 meters long x 4.5 meters high x 4.8 meters wide, weighing 307 tons. The assembly of both pieces was performed with a “Lift & Lock” Gantry System.
These components arrived at the Port of Altamira, and transported to the project site Alfa Cogeneration Plant in Altamira, Tamaulipas.
Thanks to the effort of Tradelossa´s team, everything went excellent and according to plan.
