With great pleasure we announce that this month, we finished the transportation of the wind cargo in \u201cLa Rumorosa\u201d Baja California, M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n
The project started in June of the current year, the inland moves were performed from Plaster City, California and the Port of Ensenada to the Site in Baja California.<\/p>\n
In total about 450 inland moves were performed in order to transport the components of 47 wind turbines, which include: hubs, nacelles, blades, tower sections and drive trains.<\/p>\n
The cargo had the following dims:<\/p>\n
Blades: 54.9m long, 2.80m wide, 4m high; 14.5 Tons
\nTower sections: 22.8m long, 4.3m wide, 3.9m tall; 70 Tons.
\nHub: 5.5m long, 3.8m wide, 3.8m high; 34.5 Tons.
\nDrive Train: 5.5m long, 2.9m wide, 3.4m high; 62 Tons.
\nNacelle: 12.7m long, 3.2m wide, 4.2m high; 70Tons.<\/p>\n
